Founded in 1986 by Cav. Lav. Pierantonio Riello, who has successfully led the company ever since, Riello Elettronica initially focused on the production and marketing of switching power supplies for IT applications. Later, it shifted its attention to the development of power conversion systems through the design, production, and sale of Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS), intelligent electronic devices that provide backup energy in the event of a power outage.

Thanks to a far-sighted internationalization strategy, carried out through the acquisition of key distribution companies worldwide (Europe, Asia, India, Australia, and the United States), today the Riello Elettronica Group – under the Riello UPS brand – is a market leader in Italy and consistently recognized among the leading players worldwide.

Power conversion, therefore, but not only: in the early 2000s, the idea of creating a Home Automation Hub took shape, through the acquisition of highly specialized Italian companies in home security and automation.
